In just one week’s time, Ilona and Mark will be getting hitched! But before that…
A couple of week’s ago we did a pre-wedding shoot with them and what a lovely couple they are. In fact, some of you may well recognise Ilona as the genius mastermind behind the cupcakes in the photos that we recently shared and, for some lucky couples, their own wedding cake from Tiers of Happiness!
We went for a nice and quiet walk with Ilona and Mark in a lovely heath and woodland area and despite telling us they did not feel natural in front of camera, it did not show.
As the afternoon progressed, the clouds started to pass over and threaten rain, Ilona got tired and Mark did the honourable thing:
Carry me!
Fortunately, although it had got darker, the rains that were long overdue never appeared and we managed to make use of the rather moody lighting (together with a touch of flash) and Ilona and Mark’s enthusiasm for the day.
Once we did make our way home, to try out a few more poses in preparation for their big day, they had both gotten really relaxed and just let their personal character flow:
