“I am not very sure where to start, so much to say!
From the 1^st meeting everything was explained in detail, any questions were answered I had and then the numerous questions I had up until the day we got married – and there were many 🙂
We did a pre-wedding shoot as well which was fabulous as photos are not my favourite thing but we thoroughly enjoyed it as we were made to feel very comfortable and the mood was set as friendly and humorous on some occasions – if you laugh at Jakob’s jokes (hahaha)
I cannot fault the service in any way what so ever. Both Jakob and Dasha were fantastic, reliable, flexible, helpful, professional, encouraging, punctual, understanding and the list goes on.
We could not have asked for better photographers for our special day – I will continue to recommend them to anyone I hear of that is looking for a photographer. They are honestly an absolute pleasure to work with and have around on our day; they took the stress and pain of photos away totally.
We will hopefully be using them again this year to do another photo shoot, possible ‘trash the dress’ opportunity (one more chance to wear my wedding dress)! “Where to begin there is so much to say.  It was a lucky day when we found Danish Apple photography through a recommendation on the Tiers of Happiness website.  Right from the initial consultation we both knew that ONLY Jakob and Dasha could be the ones to photograph our special day.  They explained everything in detail and answered all our questions.  There was no high pressure sales and we walked away knowing our wedding photos were in good hands.
On our pre-wedding photo shoot we felt so comfortable and relaxed.  It was a cold windy day and laughing and stomping around Richmond Park made us forget how cold it was.  In the end Jakob created a piece of art picture of us and a VW Beetle it was absolute perfection and will hang on our wall forever!!
When the big day arrived Jakob and Dasha arrived to take pictures at 7:30 am and stayed with us for the whole day.  They took all the pictures that we could possibly have wanted and ones we had no idea we wanted!  Plus loads of our friends and family.  One of our guests referred to Jakob as the sniper because he was there capturing every moment and you never knew he was there until you heard a small click.
We are immensely happy with the photographs and slideshow and the blinged heart memory stick is a beautiful touch.  They captured the day and elevated it into a series of images that have drawn enthusiastic compliments from all our family and friends. Not to mention that they made us, two ordinary people, look and feel like celebrities. We will have many fond memories just looking back at these pictures in future years and can’t wait to see our completed book.  Jakob and Dasha are professional, considerate and perceptive. They truly listen to you and capture exactly what you had in mind.  They make you feel at ease and produce amazing works of art.  We have all ready had the pleasure to recommended them and truly believe anyone would be daft not to have them capture their big day.”

“I first met Jakob at work: I was covering for a personal trainer in a gym and when he saw me he came up to me to talk and immediately we got on very well. Jakob is very polite, funny and open and he puts you at ease straight away.
When he told me he does photography I was interested to see his work. As a female bodybuilder I’m always interested in a good photoshoot. When he showed me his previous work I could tell Jakob is something different. He is a maximalist, he wouldn’t settle for anything but the best. We set up a date to do a mini shoot in their gym and I was very impressed with his professionalism. He was full with ideas. I found it very easy to work with him. He was friendly and he would not stop until he gets the best possible photos.
After the first shoot we had others to follow and Jakob was well prepared all the time. We always talked beforehand to share the ideas. It was more like a brainstorming session to agree on what shots we would like to do and what is needed.
Oh and I need to mention his little ‘helper’, Dasha, who is just as professional as Jakob, they work together very well and sometimes she has an even better idea! A lovely couple with a true passion for photography!
